BENIN CITY— THE United Returnees Foundation Against Illegal Desert Migration, URFAIDM, has raised concern over alleged increase in the number of Nigerian youths, who are found dead in the deserts while attempting to travel out illegally.
The group appealed to President Goodluck Jonathan to support measures and policies aimed at discouraging Nigerian youths against illegal desert migration by providing employment for them.
President of the Foundation, Mr Solomon Okoduwa, who commended Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State for his agricultural scheme, which he provided for the Libyan returnees in the state, urged the Federal Government to come to the aid of Nigerians, who fled the North African country, during the crisis by providing them employment.
