Sadly over the weekend, Bey is said to have not been so lucky with her outfit ripped backstage at a Tom Ford fashion show in Los Angeles. A source told UsWeekly: ‘Beyonce had a huge wardrobe malfunction at the show. Her dress ripped all the way up the back and she had to run backstage to find something else to wear.’... Ebonyi House Of Assembly Complex Razed To The Ground By Suspected Arsonists

Abakaliki is in chaos after unknown men burnt down the Ebonyi state House of Assembly complex to the ground in the early hours of yesterday. The fire started in the Accounts department and spread to the media section of the Assembly complex. The fire according to a source, destroyed some property including sensitive documents of the House. There is however suspicion of foul play as the state accountant general is gearing up for some external forensic auditing before the incident occurred this morning As at the time of this report, policemen with Amoured Personnel Carrier, APC were seen stationed at the gate of the Assembly complex as journalists and other workers were not allowed into the complex.

Nigerian Man Who Leaked Ugandan Singer’s Unclad Photos Arrested In UK

Franklin Emoubor, a Nigerian national and the estranged lover of local musician Desire Luzinda has been arrested. Speaking at the Uganda Media Centre on Tuesday, Rev. Fr. Simon Lokodo, the State minister for Ethics and Integrity said he was arretsted by Interpol. He, however did not disclose where he was arrested from. “We are going to subject him to the Ugandan courts of law and charge him since Uganda is where he initially committed the crime,” Lokodo said. Luzinda’s lover Emuobor released a series of Luzinda’s node pictures late last year. The pictures went viral on social media, drawing thousands of comments about the artist and her estranged boyfriend. Information on social media also indicated that Emuobor masqueraded as a Ugandan and used the name Franklin Baguma to acquire a Ugandan passport NO B1012076. FG Blocks N208billion Ghost Workers Scam In The Civil Service

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iweala yesterday revealed that the federal government has blocked a N208.7 billion ghost workers scam in government parastatals and agencies after a biometric collection exercise carried out to get a proper data of federal civil servants revealed that 62,893 of the workers who were hitherto on the payroll of the federal government were ghost workers. Speaking to newsmen in Abuja, the Minister said when the biometric exercise was introduced, most of the civil servants did not show up, an indication that they were ghost workers and after their disengagement, the federal government has been able to save about N208.7 billion usually expended as salaries and benefits on these ghost workers.

When the Black Stars of Ghana placed second at the just concluded AFCON 2015 competition, their president promised them a Jeep Cherokee each among other gifts. The SUVs (pictured right) worth about $76,000 are now ready for pick up. The footballer's families have been asked to come pick the SUVs on behalf of the footballers who have since returned to their various bases in Europe. The footballers also got $25,000 each. President Jonathan has sent a list of 8 ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and approval. The list which was read to members of the senate this morning by Senate president, David Mark, had names such as Senator Musiliu Obanikoro from Lagos state, Mrs.Patricia Akwashiki (Nasarawa); Mrs. Hauwa’u Lawan (Jigawa) and Prof nicholas Akise Ada (Benue) in it. Others include Col. Augustine Akobundu retd. (Abia); Mr. Fidelis Nwankwo (Ebonyi); Mr. Kenneth Kobani (Rivers) and Senator Joel Ikenya (Taraba). No date has been fixed for the Senate screening of the nominees.

Egypt Launches Air Strikes On ISIS After Terror Group Behead 21 Egyptian Christians In Libya (PICTURES)

Egypt has launched air strikes on ISIS hours after the terror group released a video showing the beheading of 21 Coptic Christians in Libya. The very graphic and disturbing video was released last night and it showed the terrorists, all dressed in head to toe in black, marching the captives, all wearing orange jumpsuits, to a beach where they were all beheaded by each militant standing behind them. Cafe Shooting Survivor Relives Horror Of Attack

One of the survivors of the deadly cafe attack in Copenhagen has told Sky News how people hid on the ground between tables and chairs as the gunman opened fire. The killer armed with an automatic weapon carried out his assault as a discussion on free speech was taking place at the cultural centre in the Krudttoenden area. A 55-year-old man attending the event was killed and three police officers were injured. Witness Dennis Meyhoff Brink said about half an hour into the meeting he said he heard shots coming from the room next door which is the cafe part of the building. He said there were about 30 shots and it took a few seconds before he realised the group was under attack. Mr Brink said people panicked and ran towards the doors to try to get out.
