A Security Officer attached to Mr Biggs Alagbole, around Ojodu- Berger, Lagos has committed suicide in the wee-hours of Tuesday, July 22, 2014.
According to sources, the Security guard hanged himself right inside the eatery, without people noticing him…
Sources say the late security guard was on night duty last night, and seized the opportunity to lock himself inside the kitchen and committed suicide.
An eyewitness account revealed that mobile Policemen surrounded the eatery today, Wednesday, July 23 – trying to evacuate the corpse – with customers deserting the place immediately.
The middle aged security man was had reportedly deleted all the contacts on his phone – making it almost impossible for the company’s management to contact his family.
“A security man with Mr Biggs Alagbole branch hung himself and he is dead. He killed himself right inside the eatery. The police are here to pick his corpse. He was on night duty last night. So he locked himself inside the kitchen area and hung himself. Sympathizers and police are everywhere trying to remove his corpse,” an eyewitness revealed.
It is not yet clear what led him to commit suicide. However, people around the area disclosed that the security man must have killed himself as a result of non-payment of salary and the frustration that comes with it.
According to them, the branch of Mr Biggs have not paid its workers any salary for the past two months. In the presence of such difficulty, his wife put to bed with his older children seeking for food and going to sleep hungry. Not being able to provide for his family, he decided to take his own life.
“I became attracted to my daughter, when I saw her. And I told her I wanted to show her true love… Actually, she was the person that started it by always changing her cloths in front of me and this attracted me” – Says John Awah, who claimed that the multiple rounds of sex he had with his daughter was ‘consensual’ It sounds bizarre, untrue, and squeamish, but it’s the whole truth.
