Austria win the Eurovision Song Contest 2014.
The UK's drought of Eurovision Song Contest victories continues after the nation's entry again fell well short of the top spot.
Despite optimism of a strong showing in this year's competition, former shop assistant Molly Smitten-Downes could only place 17th with Austria's "bearded lady" Conchita Wurst finishing the clear winner with her stunning song Rise Like a Phoenix.
After securing her victory, Conchita said: "This award is dedicated to everybody who believes in a world of peace and freedom.
"You know who you are - we are unity and we are unstoppable."
Conchita's win seemed to come as a surprise for many, despite being a clear favourite from early on in the competition. As voting started, however, it appeared to be neck-and-neck between the Austrian contestant and the entrant from The Netherlands, who came second.
It is estimated the competition was watched by a massive 180 million viewers across 45 countries.
The second-highest performing of the Eurovision 'Big 5', singer-songwriter Molly Smitten-Downes represented the Brits with a dance tune.
Molly had been among those tipped to place highly with self-penned song Children Of The Universe and wowed a lively audience in this year's host city of Copenhagen, however she was the last out of 26 acts to perform and only managed to come in at 17th place overall. Still, it was an improvement on Bonnie Tyler's efforts last year, when we came 19th.
If she had managed to win, it would have been the first British entry to do so since Katrina and the Waves came top of the leaderboard in 1997 with Love Shine a Light.
But it was not to be for the 27-year-old singer-songwriter on the night... although she was sent a cake from her 'favourite' bakery in Borough Market by the slightly unusual show host, much to her surprise. So, you know: swings and roundabouts.
“I became attracted to my daughter, when I saw her. And I told her I wanted to show her true love… Actually, she was the person that started it by always changing her cloths in front of me and this attracted me” – Says John Awah, who claimed that the multiple rounds of sex he had with his daughter was ‘consensual’ It sounds bizarre, untrue, and squeamish, but it’s the whole truth. Yes, it actually took place in Nigeria, Lagos, a city where everything seems possible. When Chinyere, 18, decided to leave her mother in Abia State and pay her father, John Awah, a visit in Lagos, she must have been longing for a tender loving care, which fathers give their children. But she surely did not bargain for what she eventually ended up with – steamy sex sessions with her father. Upon her arrival, her father was shocked to his bone marrow that his daughter who left him when she was a year old, had suddenly grown to a full girl, and he suddenly fell in love with her. Awah said: “I became attracted ...
