Oritsejafor Deceived Jonathan With Fake Prophecy – Rev Chris Okotie

Reverend Chris Okotie, the general overseer of Household of God church has said that former president Goodluck Jonathan would not have contested in the 2015 presidential election but was swayed to contest by the false prophecy of Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). The Punch reports that Okotie said this during a sermon on Sunday, October 25 in his church in Lagos. He said the president of CAN falsely prophesied that Jonathan would win the election convincingly which was why Jonathan went along to contest in the election which he eventually lost to Muhammadu Buhari. He said: “The man (Jonathan) became convinced to contest after Oritsejafor had told him, using CAN’s name, that God had ordained him the winner of the 2015 presidential election.” Okotie said that some members of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and CAN were aware that the prophecy was false but were afraid to speak out. “They couldn’t speak out because they were scared of being insulted. They were scared of being insulted for saying rubbish. They were scared of being insulted on the pages of newspapers. So, while I continued to write and speak that Jonathan was not the man, those of them who knew the truth in what I was saying chose to keep quiet out of fear. “I told CAN and PFN that Jonathan was not of God; that whosoever would win would be one that had built a tabernacle in the presence of God. “I told CAN and PFN that Jonathan did not belong to the House of David and that since he did not belong to the household, his winning would bring more sorrow to Nigeria.” Okotie said that God was responsible for the victory of Buhari and that it signified that good things would come. Sunny Oibe who is the director of national issues in CAN responded on behalf of Oritsejafor that Okotie’s statement was wrong and that the president of CAN did not make any prophesy concerning the election. “Well, it is laughable if Chris Okotie is making this spurious allegation…We will not like to take issues with Okotie…because doing that will amount to making him popular. He is looking for popularity which he doesn’t have through Pastor Ayo and he is not going to get it. “Okotie knows exactly that what he is saying is not true. Nigerians should know that Pastor Oritsejafor is not among those pastors that make prophecies. He does not make prophecy and never said anything during the campaigns. Why would he bring politics into the pulpit? “This is where we Christians are getting it wrong. They are the ones misleading Nigerians. Oritsejafor never made any prophecy concerning Jonathan and the 2015 presidential election. I challenged any Nigerian with evidence to come forward.” In another development involving CAN, a pastor, Kallamu Musa Dikwa has said President Buhari will not recognise CAN under the leadership of Pastor Oritsejafor.

Snoop Lion excommunicated from the Rastafari Community, according to Bunny Wailer! Bunny has always had his doubts about  Snoop Lion ‘s intent and now his skepticism has taken an even stronger stance, that of excommunication. The news was broken via his  Facebook  profile and via  press release . Recently Snoop Lion has struggled to convince the Rastafari and Reggae community that he is sincere about his profession of, and transition to the faith, principles and beliefs of Rastafari. Most doubtful is Bunny Wailer the only living member of the original Wailer. ‘ Excommunication is a religious censure used to deprive, suspend, or limit membership in a religious community or to restrict certain rights within it. Some groups use the term disfellowship instead, ‘ stated Bunny’s official release.
