National Assembly is PDP Presidential Villa, says Akpabio, as Markafi leads caretaker committee to session with PDP NASS members
Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has stated that the National Assembly is the Presidential Villa of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), adding that there is no division and the party remains one.
Akpabio spoke on Wednesday during a meeting which was held between the Makarfi-led PDP Caretaker Committee with the PDP Senators in the National Assembly, over reconciliation efforts. Adding to Akpabio’s claim, House Minority Leader and a member of the PDP, Hon Leo Ogor stated briefly that “there are no factions in PDP and that APC has no economic policy to run its party.”
Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu says PDP is now on a sound footing with Makarfi-led committee that will prepare the party for an all-inclusive convention. Senator Ahmed Makarfi, while introducing his members of the PDP Caretaker Committee at the meeting, admitted that the scenario which played up at the Port Harcourt convention was normal, saying “it was a doctrine of necessity.”
Makarfi however, promised the PDP federal lawmakers that his team would ensure that PDP’s interest is foremost as his committee would commence consultations immediately. He added that he is meeting with the PDP NASS members to commend them for standing by the party and Nigerians in these tough times. “Politics is about the will of the people, the will of the majority,” he said.

But she surely did not bargain for what she eventually ended up with – steamy sex sessions with her father. Upon her arrival, her father was shocked to his bone marrow that his daughter who left him when she was a year old, had suddenly grown to a full girl, and he suddenly fell in love with her.
