Former Nigerian Female football team player Florence Omagbemi has been appointed as the new interim coach of the Super Falcons pending the signing of a new foreign coach by the Nigerian Football Federation.
The Super Falcons, who are the champions of Africa will begin their qualification campaign for the 2016 African Women’s Championship in Cameroon in November, and the NFF have moved to ensure the Falcons prepare adequately for the tournament with Omagbemi's appointment.
She will be assisted by former internationals Perpetua Nkwocha, Ann Chiejine and Bala Mohammed, who will be goalkeeper trainer .
