SHOCKING: Cheating husband runs over pregnant wife with tricycle

A man, Kingdom Ike from Okigwe local government area of Imo State was reported to have allegedly ran over his wife, Njideka, with a tricycle after she suspected him of having an affair. The victim was carrying a 4-months-old pregnancy. According to an eyewitness, Robinson Akunesi, he said a fight began when Njideka who just returned from a trip to her village had caught Ike and his mistress at their home cuddling and kissing, though they were fully dressed. “Before the wife could open her mouth to inquire what he was doing with his mistress in their matrimonial home, he jumped on his tricycle, which he used for commercial purposes, and ran her over,” the witness said. Leadership news reports: The eyewitness further alleged that it only took the grace of God to save the pregnant woman, who was hooked to the side of the tricycle and was dragged along for few kilometres before she was rescued. LEADERSHIP gathered that the pregnant woman was taken to a nearby clinic by a good Samaritan for treatment of the injuries she sustained during the incident. Meanwhile, the husband was said to have fled with his mistress after the incident.
