Late Obong Donald Okon Akpabio (Ndemikot) aged 101yrs

In what turned out to be a carnival of sort, Late Obong Donald Okon Akpabio alias Ndemikot, the father of the late broadcaster, Joe Akpabio of Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation (AKBC) was on Friday, the 27th day of December 2013 led to rest at his home town, Ikot Ndien, Edemaya in Ikot Abasi Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. Ndemikot was aged 101 years. He is survived by 4 prominent sons and a daughter, 31 grand children, 7 sons/daughters in-law, 11 other in-laws and 49 nephew/nieces amongst whom are Dr. Anthony Akpabio, son; Mrs Patricia Bassey Umaha, daughter; Chief Sony Akpabio, son; Mr. Nnamso Akpabio, son and Mr. Mfreke Akpabio, son.
