Another Lawmaker Busted With Fake Mba, Phd Degree

Just while the dust is yet to settle over the fake academic credentials being paraded by Senator Hope Uzodinma, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Aviation, another lawmaker, Hon. Ibrahim Shehu Gusau, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Information Technology equally parades a fake MBA and PHD from the discredited Washington International University.

The Washington International University, WIU, has been disowned by the United States Department of Education and chased away from the State of Hawaii where it was originally incorporated.

Both Gusau and Uzodinma parade Degrees from the discredited “University” and chair sensitive committees such as Aviation and Information Technology in the National Assembly.

An Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, official who does not want to be known said Gusau, an All Nigeria Peoples Party, ANPP, member from Zamfara State included his “degrees” from the Washington International University on his INEC, form to contest election. He included same in the National Assembly website.

“From his form we have with us, he included an MBA and a PHD from Washington International University. Maybe those charged with verifying educational claims did not do their jobs,” the INEC official who spoke on condition of anonymity told Pointblanknews.com.

According to the National Assembly website, Gusau claims he has: PHD WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY (USA) 2005-2010 MBA WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY (USA) 2004-2005 MSC MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS ENGINERING UNIVERSITY OF LANCASTER (UK) HND ELECTRICAL/EKLECTRONICS OND ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS.

Hon. Gusau who actually attended University of Lancaster, United Kingdom, U.K, could be sent packing from the National Assembly for perjury.

Investigations revealed that the accelerated degree program allows completion of any degree within one year. For the accelerated program, according to the university’s website, “There are no text books to read, curriculum to follow or formal exams to take.

States of Texas, Michigan and others have warned its citizens against obtaining Degrees from the fake institution as no accreditation body in the United States recognizes it.

Bunny has always had his doubts about Snoop Lion ‘s intent and now his skepticism has taken an even stronger stance, that of excommunication.
