Organisers of the May31 friendly game between the Super Eagles and Mexico will today (Thursday) begin the sale of tickets for the encounter scheduled to hold at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas.
The Federación Mexicana de Fútbol says the match will hold 2am Nigerian time on the date.
Nigeria are the current African champions, while Mexico are the reigning CONCACAF Gold Cup champions.
While the tickets will be sold exclusively on special requests from Thursday, they will be available to the general public for $30 from Monday.
The May clash will be the fourth between the two sides. They first met in Riyadh at the King Fadh Cup in 1995, both entering the competition as continental champions. Mexico won 5-4 on penalties after regular time ended 1-1.
They met again later the same year at the US Gold Cup in Dallas, and the El Tri won again 2-1. The last time they met was in 2007 in Juarez, Mexico where they 2-2.
Mexico have played 12 matches at Reliant Stadium since 2003, averaging nearly 60,000 fans per appearance. The last time El Tricolor featured against an African opponent at Reliant in 2010, Mexico defeated Angola 1-0 before a crowd of 70,099.
The upcoming May game will be crucial for both teams. It will be their final preparation before resuming their 2014 World Cup qualifiers against their respective opponents.
Nigeria will be playing two away games against Kenya a week after playing Mexico, and a week after that, they will travel to Namibia for another qualifier before heading to Brazil for the Confederations Cup.
Mexico, on their part, will be facing Jamaica, Panama and Costa Rica in their World Cup qualifiers before heading to Brazil for the Confederations Cup.
Nigeria will face Spain, Uruguay and Tahiti in the group stage of the Confederations Cup, while Mexico take on Italy, Brazil and Japan.
