Sergio Garcia produced a wonder shot at the Bay Hill Invitational as he climbed up a tree before playing a one-handed shot back up onto the fairway.
However, while it was one of the more amazing things you will see on a golf course, it turned out to cause more harm than good.
The shot came on the 10th hole but the Spaniard could still only manage a double bogey and it came on a day when he also had a nine on the par-five sixth.
What's more, when the tournament entered a rain delay, Garcia decided to withdraw with an injury that was aggravated by his Tarzan-like antics on the 10th.
"It was not an easy decision. I wanted to continue and finish the round and the tournament… but the discomfort was increasing and I decided not to go on to avoid any more harm to me," he said before talking about his shot in the trees.
"First, I went up there to identify the ball and then saw that I could make the shot with just one hand, luckily it went well."
Garcia's playing partner William McGirt admitted he could not believe what he was seeing when Garcia started to climb up the tree.
"I knew they were looking around the tree. I didn't know they were looking in the tree. I looked over and Sergio is up in the air, and I'm trying to figure out what in the hell he's going to do. He called for a club. He's hugging the tree. And the ball comes flying out.
"Are you kidding me? It was just unbelievable."
Garcia would play two more holes before thunderstorms suspended play and he decided to withdraw.
