2face Idibia explains why he didn’t perform at his show in Atlanta

2face Idibia, has come out to apologise to his fans in Alanta, US for not showing up for a scheduled performance. The former Plantashun Boiz singer, was billed to perform on August 3, at center Stage, but failed to show up.

However, his publicist, has explained why the superstar couldn’t make it to the Atlanta leg of his United Sounds of Africa tour.

“Our flight from Lagos to New York was pushed back by almost 24 hours without notice. As a result, we could not make our initial connecting flight to Atlanta,” Bayo Omisore of Platonique PR explained.

We had to leave JFK for La Guardia to catch that flight. Needless to say, the entire delegation had to head straight to the venue, by which time we had only about 25 minutes to perform before it was shut down. At the end of the concert, even though we made plans to make an appearance at the club, everybody was understandably too tired to make the trip.

Omisore also revealed that 2face was sad that he could not get to perform at the show.

“Our client is as ‘frustrated as you are that he was not able to mingle with the Atlanta public especially after the show of love,” before adding that African City Group, the organizers of the show should not be blamed for the disappointments.

2face, will honour perform at the Chicago leg of the tour.
