R&B Star Akon Performs In A Bubble To ‘Avoid Ebola’ In DRC

Award-winning Senegalese-American R&B artist, Akon, was reported to have been in a giant bubble while performing at a concert in Goma, DRC. This was apparently, to prevent coming into contact with people who may infect him with the Ebola virus. But how true is this?
Akon in the giant 'bubble' carried by a crowd in Goma. Was this really to avoid Ebola infection? Photo: TheSource.com The successful US hip hop and R&B artist had performed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s city of Goma as part of the country’s International Day of Peace celebrations last month. For some bizarre reason, some international publications have reported his performance in the “bubble” can be attributed to his attempts at avoiding Ebola infection. But, according to who? Akon himself made no public mention of any fears of Ebola for his upcoming performance. What also doesn’t make sense is that this wasn’t the first time that Akon crowdsurfed in the contraption.

No cases of Ebola have been reported in those countries. So why is it that when he plays in Africa, it becomes an Ebola issue? But then again, should we at all be surprised? Source:

Bunny has always had his doubts about  Snoop Lion ‘s intent and now his skepticism has taken an even stronger stance, that of excommunication. The news was broken via his  Facebook  profile and via  press release . Recently Snoop Lion has struggled to convince the Rastafari and Reggae community that he is sincere about his profession of, and transition to the faith, principles and beliefs of Rastafari. Most doubtful is Bunny Wailer the only living member of the original Wailer. ‘ Excommunication is a religious censure used to deprive, suspend, or limit membership in a religious community or to restrict certain rights within it.
