Three
Ijaw students’ groups in Niger Delta, yesterday, said that they will
not be happy if President Goodluck Jonathan fails to seek a fresh
mandate in 2015.
They made this known in a statement by the leaders of Izon-Ebe Students, National Association of Izon-Ebe Law Students, NAILS, and National Associaiton of Izon-Ebe English Students, NAIES, Ebi Wayas and others.
According to the student's groups, the President has impacted massively and positively to the educational sector of the country since he came into power.
"President Jonathan’s concern for building quality and affordable education for Nigerian students cannot be over estimated.
"Students of Ijaw nation and Niger Delta region will always give their support to Jonathan to show gratitude for his rapid transformation of education and other sectors of the economy.
"We have confidence in the person of Jonathan for better Nigeria, despite the orchestrated efforts of some unscrupulous elements in the country to make him unpopular and unacceptable.”
