Lady Gaga has stripped naked in a video made to support and promote the Marina Abramovic Institute.
The ‘Born This Way’ singer is no stranger to baring the flesh, but she’s taken it to a whole new level by partaking in the video to support the Marina Abramovic Institute.
In the clip, the singer is seen in a variety of settings while making a continuous groaning sound as she practices the Abramovic method, designed to ‘heighten the participants’ awareness of their physical and mental experience in the present moment’.
The blonde star spends most of the video blindfolded while walking slowly and occasionally striking a pose, but at one point Gaga bends down to grab hold of a tree branch in a forest, before wrapping her arms around a large crystal on a piece of laminate flooring.
Serbian artist Marina is trying to raise $600,000 through donation service Kickstarter to fund her artworks. So far she has $228,683 of her target pledged.
Marina has also generously promised everyone who donates will get a ‘personal hug’. The moneypledged is to be used to help get the Institute off the ground.
