A woman in labor who was on her way to a hospital, was forced to give birth in front of a strip club after her baby just didn’t want to wait any longer, police in Tennessee said. The Nashville Fire Department said that the taxi driver who was driving the woman in labor to the hospital, decided to pull into the parking of the strip club, fearing that they won’t make it to the medical center in time.
The incident unfolded about 8:00 a.m. Monday in the parking lot of Deja Vu, which is located at 1214 Demonbreun Street, just off Interstate 40. When firefighters arrived, they found the 31-year-old woman with the baby girl in her lap. Both the mother and her baby were taken to St. Thomas Midtown Hospital. A spokesperson for the hospital said that the mother and her baby were happy and healthy. The general manager of the strip club said that they will be giving the woman $500 and some other gifts.
