Ibori To Return To Nigeria As FG Signs Prisoners’ Transfer Deal With UK

James Ibori

The Federal Government and Britain, yesterday, signed a Prisoners’ Transfer Agreement.
The agreement will see Nigerian prisoners in Britain, which may include former Delta State Governor, James Ibori, return to Nigeria to complete their jail terms.
Ibori, accused of stealing N39,737,500,000 from the Nigerian public purse, had on February 27, pleaded guilty to ten counts of money laundering and conspiracy to defraud at Southwark Crown Court, London. He was sentenced to 13 years by Southwark Crown Court for his crimes on Tuesday, April 17, 2012.
The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohammad Adoke, SAN and the United Kingdom, Minister of Justice, Mr. Jeremy Wright sealed the deal at a ceremony, in Abuja.
“This is a good agreement for both Nigeria and UK. It gives us an opportunity to strengthen our partnership and friendship. It is also an opportunity to ensure that the prisoners which come from either country will serve their sentences in their own countries, that is better for their rehabilitation,” Wright said.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Professor Viola Onwuliri, who earlier received Wright in her office, said “experts from both countries will now sit down to bring the modalities for implementation. After which the two countries will go back to ratify and then it will come into force.
“We have two arrangements with UK on prisoner transfer. Already we have an existing agreement under the commonwealth scheme which provides transfer with consent and we have been implementing that. [Vanguard]

Snoop Lion Excommunicated From The Rastafari Community

Snoop Lion excommunicated from the Rastafari Community, according to Bunny Wailer! Bunny has always had his doubts about  Snoop Lion ‘s intent and now his skepticism has taken an even stronger stance, that of excommunication. The news was broken via his  Facebook  profile and via  press release . Recently Snoop Lion has struggled to convince the Rastafari and Reggae community that he is sincere about his profession of, and transition to the faith, principles and beliefs of Rastafari. Most doubtful is Bunny Wailer the only living member of the original Wailer. ‘ Excommunication is a religious censure used to deprive, suspend, or limit membership in a religious community or to restrict certain rights within it. Some groups use the term disfellowship instead, ‘ stated Bunny’s official release. With that said, this would surely deprive Snoop Lion from direct contact to some elders within the Rastafarian community also, access to vital information and place of wo...

“I became attracted to my daughter, when I saw her. And I told her I wanted to show her true love… Actually, she was the person that started it by always changing her cloths in front of me and this attracted me” – Says John Awah, who claimed that the multiple rounds of sex he had with his daughter was ‘consensual’ It sounds bizarre, untrue, and squeamish, but it’s the whole truth. Yes, it actually took place in Nigeria, Lagos, a city where everything seems possible. When Chinyere, 18, decided to leave her mother in Abia State and pay her father, John Awah, a visit in Lagos, she must have been longing for a tender loving care, which fathers give their children. But she surely did not bargain for what she eventually ended up with – steamy sex sessions with her father. Upon her arrival, her father was shocked to his bone marrow that his daughter who left him when she was a year old, had suddenly grown to a full girl, and he suddenly fell in love with her. Awah said: “I became attracted ...
