Coronation Street actress loses battle with cancer

Former 'Coronation Street' actress Sophiya Haque, who played Rovers Return barmaid Poppy Morales, has died aged 41.

She was diagnosed with cancer just two weeks ago, according to her partner David White.

Haque... on set in Coronation Street

She played mouthy barmaid Poppy from December 2008 to June 2009, and had been appearing in West End production 'Privates on Parade' up until Christmas.

The show's director Michael Grandage said: “We are all devastated by Sophiya Haque's sudden passing. She was a true force of nature and her glorious performance as Sylvia in 'Privates on Parade' is one that will be remembered with great joy.

“A spirited lady, she lived life to the full, and her presence in the theatre will be sorely missed. The company would like to dedicate the remaining performances to her memory.”

Stuart Piper, managing director of Haque's talent agency Cole Kitchenn, added: “Sophiya was one of the most inspirational people I ever met.

“On stage, it was like you were watching her in close-up even if you were sat at the back of the stalls, such was her star presence and charisma. I am so desperately sad that she has been lost to the world at such a tragically young age, but feel blessed to have known her.”

She had also starred in the premiere production of 'Bombay Dreams' with Andrew Lloyd-Webber, a number of Bollywood movies, and in 'Wanted', opposite Angeline Jolie and James McAvoy.

Snoop Lion Excommunicated From The Rastafari Community

Snoop Lion excommunicated from the Rastafari Community, according to Bunny Wailer! Bunny has always had his doubts about  Snoop Lion ‘s intent and now his skepticism has taken an even stronger stance, that of excommunication. The news was broken via his  Facebook  profile and via  press release . Recently Snoop Lion has struggled to convince the Rastafari and Reggae community that he is sincere about his profession of, and transition to the faith, principles and beliefs of Rastafari. Most doubtful is Bunny Wailer the only living member of the original Wailer. ‘ Excommunication is a religious censure used to deprive, suspend, or limit membership in a religious community or to restrict certain rights within it. Some groups use the term disfellowship instead, ‘ stated Bunny’s official release. With that said, this would surely deprive Snoop Lion from direct contact to some elders within the Rastafarian community also, access to vital information and place of wo...

How My Daughter Seduced Me To Have Sex With Her – John Awah

“I became attracted to my daughter, when I saw her. And I told her I wanted to show her true love… Actually, she was the person that started it by always changing her cloths in front of me and this attracted me” – Says John Awah, who claimed that the multiple rounds of sex he had with his daughter was ‘consensual’ It sounds bizarre, untrue, and squeamish, but it’s the whole truth. Yes, it actually took place in Nigeria, Lagos, a city where everything seems possible. When Chinyere, 18, decided to leave her mother in Abia State and pay her father, John Awah, a visit in Lagos, she must have been longing for a tender loving care, which fathers give their children. But she surely did not bargain for what she eventually ended up with – steamy sex sessions with her father. Upon her arrival, her father was shocked to his bone marrow that his daughter who left him when she was a year old, had suddenly grown to a full girl, and he suddenly fell in love with her. Awah said: “I became attracted ...
