Mum In Aso Villa As FEC Meeting Fails To Hold

The weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting did not hold on Wednesday (today) in spite of the fact that President Goodluck Jonathan, who embarked on Christian pilgrimage as well as state visits to Israel and Palestine, has since returned to the country.

The last meeting was chaired by Mr. Jonathan before he jetted out of the country.
As at the time of filing this report, the Presidency has yet to give any official reason why the meeting, which is usually attended by ministers and top presidential aides, did not hold.
